Hoilett’s contract with the Vancouver Whitecaps expired, leaving him a free agent as of right now. The winger’s experience in the EFL is what makes him most famous, even though he may have just practiced in the MLS.

Crucially, Neil Warnock, who the Canadian would play for at Queens Park Rangers and the previously stated Cardiff City, is currently Aberdeen’s manager. During those two stints, Warnock was able to bring out the best in the now 33-year-old, and a reunion may be in order.

Warnock was brought in to assist Aberdeen, who are now languishing in ninth position in the SPFL, climb back up the standings and regain some pride following a disastrous first half of the season. The addition of Hoilett would undoubtedly aid in that endeavor, and it appears like the winger’s arrival may improve Aberdeen’s season as well as help him get his career back on track.

Hoilett was outstanding while he was at Cardiff and also had stints at QPR and Blackburn. Because of his contribution to the club’s promotion to the Premier League, Bluebirds supporters will cherish their wonderful memories of him during his tenure.

During their time together, Neil Warnock brought out the best in the Canadian international, thus many supporters of other EFL teams would undoubtedly be thrilled to see this transfer. If he is still able to play, Hoilett may return to the Football League after moving to Scotland.
