Villa has been linked to a deal for Oscar Gloukh, a highly-regarded 19-year-old forward with Red Bull Salzburg.
This season, the Israel international has netted twice in the Champions League group stage matches against Inter Milan and Benfica in addition to contributing three assists and four goals in the Austrian Bundesliga.
A number of English teams have been connected to the young player, who can play out wide or as an offensive midfielder, including Unai Emery’s team.
Gloukh would cost Villa more than £30 million and is under contract with the Austrian powerhouses until June 2027.
