Erol Bulut to hold talks with Cardiff City star after alleged crowd spat

Cardiff City manager Erol Bulut will speak with Ryan Wintle after it was alleged he had a verbal spat with supporters during the draw with Blackburn Rovers.

It was reported on the night that after Wintle had taken a free-kick early in the game, which failed to make it past the first Rovers defender, supporters in the Ninian Stand voiced their frustrations over the quality of the set-piece delivery.

Wintle is then alleged to have gestured to the supporters to calm down, while others state that he exchanged words with them. The midfielder, who was captain of the Bluebirds on the night, then hit the first man with his next free-kick minutes later, which prompted audible groans from the crowd.
