Rangers Injury; He won’t be playing for a long time

Todd Cantwell has made himself a key part of Philippe Clement’s Rangers revival – but the boss will have to do without the playmaker for the clash with Hearts.

The Englishman will miss up to four weeks with a hamstring injury picked up against St Johnstone leaving his Light Blues teammates to continues their push for the Scottish Premiership title without him. Cantwell has played a key role in linking up the attack and midfield in recent weeks – but the door has now opened for some of the fringe men to grasp their chance.

Tom Lawrence will hope to get the nod having struggled to land a consistent run of starts this term amid an injury-hampered campaign. Fabio Silva could also be moved into a deeper role behind Cyriel Dessers, while versatile Dujon Sterling could come into the starting line-up if Clement looks to shake up the style of play without Cantwell. There could also be a role for Kemar Roofe as he returns to the squad in search of his first appearance since December.
