Monroe High School athlete Jordan Young is drawing the attention of many programs for his two-way athletic prowess. He’s the younger cousin of Los Angeles Rams outside linebacker and former Tennessee defender Byron Young.
“Jordan Young has locked in official visits to Clemson on May 31-June 2 and Florida State on June 14-16. He is working on others. Outside of those two ACC programs, Tennessee is a school in the thick of this race. Spring visits will take place for the elite safety out of Monroe (N.C.) as well, but the dates have yet to be finalized. Alabama and Penn State are hanging around. Young ranks as the No. 58 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He holds 25 offers and tallied 66 tackles, two tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, and an interception during his junior season. Young also had a lot of production on offense, totaling 34 receptions for 812 yards and eight touchdowns.
