New York Jets Select MASSIVE Offensive Weapon For Aaron Rodgers

In case you missed it, the New York Jets’ 2023 season wasn’t quite what was anticipated following their acquisition of Aaron Rodgers. After some subpar QB play, the future Hall of Famer tore his Achilles on the opening drive of the season, and the team was never able to recover.

The Jets will presumably be looking to rebuild in 2024 with a healthy Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. reports that a significant offensive upgrade may be in store when the team selects Georgia tight end Brock Bowers with the 10th overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft this coming April.

For the first time in what seemed like forever, the New York Jets had all the makings of a viable Super Bowl contender. But things didn’t go as planned during the Aaron Rodgers era in “The Big Apple,” as the quarterback who would eventually be elected to the Hall of Fame on the first vote tore his Achilles on the opening drive of his Jets tenure.

Despite some sparks from the usual suspects Sauce Gardner, Garrett Wilson, and Breece Hall, the Jets concluded with a disappointing 7-10 record. As predicted, the QB carousel of Zach Wilson, Trevor Siemian, and Tim Boyle didn’t quite get the job done.
