Sources: Stoke City legendary boss is Back

According to HITC, Stoke City is looking into possible players to take Steven Schumacher’s job, and Tony Pulis, the former renowned manager, is one of their targets.

Aged 66One of Stoke’s all-time greats, Tony Pulis, is someone the team has looked to if they want to win the championship again.

As far as HITC is aware, Schumacher—who was only appointed in December—may soon lose his position at the Bet365 Stadium.

After spending ten years at Stoke throughout two separate stints, Pulis developed a close relationship with the club’s owners, the Coates Family.

HITC is aware that Pulis isn’t prepared to think about leaving retirement at this time, though.

Adrian Heath, who left his position as manager of Major League Soccer team Minnesota United last year after six years, is another name that is reportedly on their radar.

The 63-year-old Staffordshire native Heath started his professional career with Stoke, appearing in over 100 games before Howard Kendall at Everton signed him.

After parting ways with football director Ricky Martin, temporary hire Jon Walters will be in charge of selecting Schumacher’s successor, should that happen.

This weekend, Stoke, who have fallen into the relegation zone this month, are scheduled to play Middlesbrough, and if they lose, there may be a manager change.
