Cardiff City reveal their intension on…

In October, Ng’s header sealed a 2-0 victory over the Robins at home, giving Severnside a derby double.

In thirteen days, the Bluebirds will try to accomplish a league double against Swansea City for the first time ever.

“We have won three derbies now – we’ll be looking to complete the four,” Ng stated.

“We’re thrilled. I believe that in previous derbies, we were a little too innocent and let in careless goals.

“But [this season] we have been really solid, had good intensity and good shape, and we look tough to beat.”

Cardiff ended a run of four successive defeats to Swansea with a 2-0 triumph over their fiercest rivals last September.

Swansea secured the first league double in the history of the south Wales derby in 2021-22, then repeated the feat last season.

Cardiff have given themselves a chance to redress the balance and, with a trip to Swansea on the horizon, Erol Bulut’s side have found some momentum courtesy of successive Championship wins.

Having backed up their home win over Stoke with a determined display at Ashton Gate, Cardiff face home games against Huddersfield Town on Wednesday and Ipswich Town next Saturday before going to Swansea on 16 March.

“It’s so important in this league to get back-to-back wins – what a difference it makes to the dressing room,” Ng added.

“We have got Huddersfield at home on Wednesday and we’ll be looking to win again.

“Who knows what can happen in this league. If we can get a few wins together, get momentum behind us, it can take us somewhere.”
