Sad News;Everton double injury blow

During Everton’s 1-1 tie with Brighton & Hove Albion, Sean Dyche disclosed that Idrissa Gana Gueye has a groin problem.

After Jarrad Branthwaite scored an incredible goal in the 73rd minute, it seemed as though the Toffees would win their first Premier League game in nine games. Furthermore, Billy Gilmour was dismissed from Brighton for a reckless tackle on Amadou Onana.

Lewis Dunk’s equalizer in the 95th minute helped 10-man Brighton rally. Gueye was substituted out in the 48th minute after returning from the African Cup of Nations earlier this month. The midfield player has a groin problem, which Dyche acknowledged after the game. An evaluation will be conducted.

“Idrissa had to come off,” the Everton manager stated. At the half, he claimed to be alright, but his groin spasmped. It’s too soon to say.

Lewis Dobbin, meanwhile, was not included in the Everton team. This season, the 21-year-old has made 13 appearances. “We’re hopeful that will settle down soon,” Dyche continued.

Everton is now one point above the relegation zone as a result of their tie.
