Great News;He is Back in Training

TOM O’CONNOR has returned to training and Phil Parkinson revealed how a new piece of gym equipment has allowed the utility player to maintain fitness levels during his spell on the sidelines.

Prior to the Welsh derby loss to Newport County on January 20, O’Connor, a midfielder who has been in outstanding form while playing as the left-sided center-back for the duration of the League Two campaign, suffered a minor foot fracture.

O’Connor has been out for the last ten games due to injury, but he has been able to improve his fitness and is currently back in the training room.

Tom is back in training, which makes me very happy, Parkinson added.

“We had him rescanned, and you really can’t control the natural healing process that needs to happen.

“However, Tom’s training regimen has been maintained by Kevin Mulholland and his group.
