Sean Dyche so angry with Everton star after West Ham loss

Chris Sutton thinks that after Dominic Calvert-Lewin was left off of Everton’s starting lineup for the loss to West Ham, Sean Dyche had “run out of patience” with him.

The Sky Sports commentator was reacting to the Toffees’ 3-1 loss to the Hammers at Goodison Park, where striker Beto received a rare start, scored a goal, and missed a penalty, during his appearance on the BBC Sport Monday Night Club podcast on March 4.

Furthermore, Sutton feels that the manager has had enough of the 26-year-old and gave him the go-ahead instead of the struggling Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

“It was intriguing to be left out over the weekend; Beto started and failed to convert a penalty kick,” he remarked.

When the season first began, I genuinely believed that Calvert-Lewin’s ability to establish a rhythm and a run of games would be crucial to Everton’s chances of finishing in the Premier League.

“He has demonstrated in the past that he can effectively lead the line in addition to being a respectable goal scorer.

“He performed well at the beginning of the season, but he has just faded away, hesitated, and he may even claim that he is not receiving the service,” he continued.

“He’s simply lost his direction as the season has progressed, and it appears that Chris Sutton has reached his limit with him at this point; he’s effectively played his way off the team.”
