After being moved out on loan once more by Liverpool at the end of January in quest of playing time, the former Dons star has not made an appearance for Bolton Wanderers since the end of February.
Liverpool, Calvin Ramsay’s parent club, is concerned that he has once again been left out of the Bolton Wanderers roster.
The former Dons star had thought that his loan transfer to Lancashire at the end of January would be a fresh start after a difficult 18 months due to injury.
For £4.5 million in July 2022, Ramsay went from Aberdeen to Liverpool. However, the 20-year-old full back has struggled with injuries, playing in just two first team games at Anfield the previous season and two more on loan at Preston in the first half of this one.
Sadly, Ramsay’s situation at Bolton, who are tied for second place in England’s third division and are attempting to return to the Championship after a four-year absence, hasn’t gotten any better.
Playing in four of the EFL League One team’s first six games after signing, Ramsay enjoyed a strong start. He did not, however, play the entire ninety minutes in either of these games, according to the Daily Record.
