BOLTON WANDERERS STAR IS BACK IN TRAINING

Nathan Broadhead might make a comeback this weekend when Town visits Cardiff City.

With a televised 12.30pm kickoff in the Welsh capital, the Blues are hoping to extend their winning streak in the Championship to six games.

Nathan’s muscular ailment kept him out of the victories over Plymouth and Bristol City, but he is back in training and might play this weekend in his own country.

Nathan isn’t too far away right now, according to manager Kieran McKenna.

“He made some progress yesterday (Thursday), so we’re going to check on him this morning (Friday). There’s a chance he could be able to travel, which would put him in a better position.”

Wes Burns and Jack Taylor both returned from injury from the bench during Tuesday night’s victory, with Kieran pleased with the way his side have been able to recover following the game.

“The lads seem to have come through it well,” he said.

“It was a night of emotion and plenty of energy but we’ve had time to recover now, a good training session on Thursday, and the group are looking forward to the challenge now.”
