Tottenham join Everton in battle for Hull City star

Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are considering a transfer for Jacob Greaves, the defender for Hull City, as per a Daily Mirror article from October 3, page 61.

James Maddison joined from Leicester City in the summer, continuing Spurs’ recent trend of acquiring Championship players.

Other signings haven’t worked out as well. Joe Rodon, who was brought in from Swansea City, didn’t really contribute when he was in the English capital.

Jack Clarke, who also arrived from Leeds United, struggled at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and left to play for Sunderland, where he is now guaranteed a starting spot on matchdays when healthy.

Greaves could be the North London outfit’s latest signing from the second tier, with the 23-year-old shining under Liam Rosenior this season.
