Report:All Eyes on Hull City 23-year-old English defender

Apparently still searching for a center-half to bolster their lineup, Hull City’s Jacob Greaves has surfaced as a possible target for Tottenham Hotspur.

In order to complement Cristian Romero in the center of the defense, Spurs signed Micky van de Ven last summer. Throughout the season, the two have grown closer.

Then, the Lilywhites acquired Romanian center-back Radu Dragusin from Genoa during the January transfer window. You would think that with three excellent central defenders, Ange Postecoglou is rather happy with his options, but it doesn’t seem to be the case.

Many sources indicate that Spurs will look to add a center-back to their roster in the summer, with a number of prestigious players being linked to moves to North London.

But according to the most recent Daily Mirror article (10/03/24, page 61), Hull City’s Jacob Greaves is the subject of a new report that implies Spurs may be searching the second division of English football for a new defender.

Premier League teams like Everton and Spurs are reportedly considering Greaves as a possible replacement for Jarrad Branthwaite, who is drawing interest ahead of the summer transfer season.
