The Baltimore Ravens have been operating out of the Under Armour Performance Center, also known as the Castle, for the past week due to the addition of a free agent on Friday. Equity Sports reports that fifth-year veteran cornerback Ka’Dar Hollman has accepted terms to join the team. This information was initially reported by Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic.
Prior to being traded to the Houston Texans, Hollman played his first two seasons with the Green Bay Packers after being selected in the sixth round of the 2019 draft out of Toledo. Before joining the Texans again in 2023, he bounced around the practice squads of the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons during the 2022 season.
The 29-year-old, who mostly played on special teams, was present in every game for the Texans in the previous campaign.
The Ravens’ plans for the 2024 NFL Draft, in which cornerback will still be a priority need, won’t be affected by this move.
Hollman is the fourth outside free agent to join the Ravens since the official start of the new league year, and the fourth player the team has signed to a contract this week.
The other players who inked deals earlier this week include slot cornerback Arthur Maulet, who had the finest season of his career in 2023, offensive tackle Josh Jones, who can play every position bar center, and inside linebacker Chris Board, who is returning to the squad for a second term.
There may yet be more additions before the draft as the Ravens hosted free-agent visits by seasoned wide receivers Josh Reynolds and Michael Gallup.
