Sad News;Las Vegas Head Coach Has Been Fired

Since general manager Mike Mayock and head coach Jon Gruden were fired, the Las Vegas Raiders have appeared to be a team in transition.

They feel pretty much the same way this year. The Raiders defensive line has a chance to be among the best in the league after acquiring Christian Wilkins in free agency to complement defensive player of the year contender Maxx Crosby.

However, the offensive line of the Bay Area team still has a lot of holes in it because both Greg Van Roten and Jermaine Eluemunor, the right tackles, have either left or are unlikely to return in free agency.

Along with being weak at running back and lacking a true number one cornerback, the Raiders have very nothing behind an aging Davante Adams and the dependable but unimpressive Jakobi Meyers.

Many do not believe that Aidan O’Connell, the team’s incumbent starter from the previous season who replaced an underwhelming Jimmy Garoppolo midway through the campaign, represents the team’s future.
