Tennessee Titans’ Brian Callahan Mad About QB Will Levis

After working alongside one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Joe Burrow, for the previous four years, Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan is now able to lead his own team, starting second-year signal caller Will Levis.

In a Super Bowl defeat to the Los Angeles Rams, Callahan, as the Bengals’ offensive coordinator, witnessed Burrow take Cincinnati all the way to the Lombardi trophy.

Brian Callahan’s Assessment on Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis

Before Levis’s second season and their first together, Callahan gave a positive assessment of the player during the NFL Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.

Callahan said to SiriusXM, “I see a really, really competitive, tough, intense personality.” “I believe he genuinely aspires to be moral. I believe that’s a good place to start. It’s a nice thing to have to start with if you have a man like that who is willing and eager to put in the necessary work to become a really strong player.

“In addition, I believe he has exceptional physical talent. He is well-built, powerful, adept at throwing the ball, has excellent footwork, and is a solid runner.

Following his withdrawal from the 2023 NFL Draft in the first round, Levis played in nine games as a rookie. He completed just 58.4% of his throws for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions, while also gaining 57 rushing yards and another touchdown.

Levis will have an even stronger supporting cast heading into his second NFL season after the Titans added Calvin Ridley, a deep threat receiver, to line up opposite DeAndre Hopkins.

Callahan listed Levis’ top qualities as “all of those things.” “give me a sense of anticipation for what lies ahead for him.” He played just long enough to pick up a few lessons, and I’m excited about what lies ahead for him. I’m eager to start working with him in real life.
