Burnley’s Intresting Story

Weghorst stated earlier this year that playing at Twente is his childhood goal, and the Dutch powerhouses are eager to recruit him for the upcoming summer.

He has a year remaining on his Turf Moor deal, and he is currently on loan at Hoffenheim from Burnley.

Ten Voorde stated that he is positive that Burnley will not allow him to leave on a free transfer and that the transfer is now contingent on how much money they will demand in a transfer fee.

He emphasized that reaching a mutually agreeable agreement shouldn’t be difficult because Weghorst is willing to accept a wage decrease in order to complete his relocation to Twente, even though he would not be making nearly as much as he is now.

On the De Warming-Up podcast from TC/Tubantia, Ten Voorde stated: “Burley has the ball in their court.”

He makes a lot of money there, but they won’t let him leave for free.

Burnley is eager to sell Weghorst, but they haven’t told Twentyde how much he will cost yet.

“Salary is not an issue because he wishes to attend Twente.

Yes, but his pay in England and Germany will be far less than that at that point.

“He’ll take a large cut.” You may make a lot of comments about him, but I think it’s admirable that a boy follows through on his desire to perform for a club.

Whether Burnley agrees to let the attacker join Twente in exchange for a fair transfer fee is still up in the air.
