Over the years, Pride Park has welcomed a number of players from Derby County, some of whom have left their mark on Rams legend.
But for a few, things were a little harder when they were at Pride Park, and they weren’t able to reach the levels that a lot of people had anticipated of them when they first joined the team.
Ikechi Anya turned out to be one of such players, even though he had already demonstrated his talent before joining Watford ahead of the 2016–17 season.
Though many Derby supporters have forgotten his time in the East Midlands, the Scot came with great potential to lead the Rams back to the Premier League.
