Sad news:all good things must come to an end.

When the 21-year-old Scotland international right-back completed a £12 million, eventually rising to £16 million, move to the Premier League in January 2022, he broke the Ibrox club’s transfer record.

Since then, Nathan Patterson has managed Everton under four different managers: Rafa Benitez, Duncan Ferguson, Frank Lampard, and Sean Dyche.

And it’s because of the gravelly-voiced Northerner that things at Goodison Park have stumbled, giving the incorrect signals in response to a condescending training camp smack.

Now that there are rumors that a prominent Rangers player is drawing a large sum of money from Saudi Arabia, will Nathan Patterson returning to Ibrox take care of several issues for everyone?

Patterson has made 19 appearances for Everton so far this season, but he hasn’t left the bench in their previous seven Premier League games as of this writing.

It seems sacrilegious to imply James Tavernier, the captain of the Rangers, would quit Ibrox, especially since he only became the best scoring defender in British football history this past weekend (131).

It’s difficult to see a Rangers team without the team’s ever-blue captain sauntering down the right side. Tavernier, a Hall of Famer, is in with the bricks at the renowned stadium. Tavernier has been a constant in the lineup for the previous nine seasons.

Unfortunately, though,

And it creates a whole host of problems since James Tavernier is thirty-two years old and the offer of millions of Saudi Arabian dollars could arrive in the summer.

The Ibrox board will have to pay attention if Saudi interest is expressed given Rangers’ selling club status, depending on the kind of monies involved.

Rangers News firmly believes that the reports of Saudi Arabian interest are authentic, and there’s a fair likelihood that the Ibrox side will be questioned in the coming months.

It could be fascinating to test Nathan Patterson’s previous allegation that he has “unfinished business” with the Rangers.

The young Scotland star is obviously highly regarded by Everton, but his development has stalled recently, and there’s a persistent belief that the right-back needs a swift reset amid criticism of his performance on the international scene.

If Rangers were to offer James Tavernier millions from the Saudi Arabian Pro League, the circumstance might present a chance for the Ibrox team.

Although many people find it unimaginable that James Tavernier would leave the Rangers this summer, the team could still win those Saudi millions, get Patterson back on loan, and use versatile squad member Dujon Sterling as cover.

Or is the Rangers captain simply too significant to be replaced?
