Ben Nelson and Tom Cannon are expected to return to the Leicester City team in time for their matchup against Birmingham, bringing the team almost to full strength.
Both of the young players sustained minor injuries during the international break—Cannon during training, and Nelson while playing for the England Under-20s—which prevented them from playing in the Easter fixtures against Norwich and Bristol City. But now that they’re back in the mix and there are no new injuries to worry about, City has just two players out.
While his recuperation from a hamstring injury is progressing, Kasey McAteer will still need one or two weeks to return. The only other player sidelined is Harry Souttar, who had an injury a few weeks ago when playing for Australia.
