The positive relationship between Tottenham and Leicester may aid in the chase
Dewsbury-Hall has emerged as a top target for the Lilywhites, who have been busy in the transfer market in recent windows and are anticipated to continue their hiring spree in the summer.
Tottenham’s relationship with Leicester City is good. They paid the Foxes £40 million to recruit James Maddison, a player who arrived at Spurs and immediately made an impression. They also paid over £10 million for the sale of Harry Winks, who was essential to their promotion bid.
This adds more fuel to the rumors about their involvement with Dewsbury-Hall.
Dewsbury-Hall is having a fantastic campaign.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who has played in the Championship since he was a young player, has had an outstanding season.
Dewsbury-Hall has drawn interest from a number of teams, including Tottenham, with his outstanding statistics of 11 goals and 13 assists in 38 Championship matches this season.
His current Leicester City contract expires in June 2027, but according to recent reports, a move worth about £25 million would make it easier for him to leave the King Power Stadium.
It should be noted, though, that should Leicester win promotion back to the Premier League, this amount might increase to £40 million.
Leicester is in the running for promotion, now sitting one point behind leaders Ipswich Town in third position in the Championship with 86 points.
If Dewsbury-Hall joins Tottenham, he would rejoin James Maddison, a former teammate from Leicester, under Ange Postecoglou’s coaching. The two might create a dynamic midfield duo at Spurs.
