The Kansas City Chiefs are not the Tennessee Titans. Andy Reid, one of the all-time great coaches, is not the rookie head coach Brian Callahan. Will Levis, a sophomore signal-caller, is unquestionably not Patrick Mahomes, who has achieved more team and individual success than any quarterback in NFL history during his first six seasons as a starter. There are several of excellent pass-catchers on the Titans, but none quite compare to Travis Kelce, who is probably the greatest of all time at his position.
L’Jarius Sneed, a former cornerback for the Chiefs, is excited about the chance to improve his game against two “elite wide receivers,” who are teammates he never had in Kansas City. The two-time Super Bowl winner gave an explanation of why practicing against DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley will help him “get better” during a recent appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
According to Bobby Kownack of NFL.com, Sneed remarked, “To get out there and work with them elite wide receivers, I never had two elite guys like them, going up against them every day.” “I had some really good players, but those two guys—well-known names—they stand out. I’m eager to start working with those folks. I’m confident that they will help me improve in practice, and I’m eager to seek advice from both of them on how to do so. what they observe. Instead of the other people I’ve been playing with for four years, they see my weakness. I want fresh men who approach things externally.
After his former team slapped the franchise tag on him early in the offseason, Sneed’s contract standoff with the Chiefs came to an end when he was purchased by the Titans in late March. After reaching an agreement with superstar defensive tackle Chris Jones, Kansas City always intended to trade Sneed rather than re-sign him to a big new deal.
