3 recruits who could commit soon to Michigan football

The Michigan football team is currently experiencing a lack of commits. On January 4th, they made their final commitment to Tennessee tight end Eli Owens. Naturally, a lot has changed since then. In addition to winning a national championship, the Wolverines’ staff has undergone a total change.

With the intention of starting over, the new coaches essentially reset a lot of the recruiting board. Sherrone Moore has been in office for roughly three months, and the recruitment season has just begun. The Wolverines have left a lasting impression on many of the top talents that have visited Ann Arbor.

While NIL remains a question, there is optimism that the Wolverines could land a couple commitments before the end of April. With that said, lets take a look at three prospects who should be on commitment watch.

Four Star WR Taz Williams (TX)

Williams, who is originally from Pennsylvania, has received some predictions to Michigan recently, and the Wolverines seem to have all the momentum right now. Williams is similar to the receivers that Michigan football has on the roster. He’s around 6 feet and is more of a speedy receiver as opposed to a jump ball guy.

Williams was set to be on campus this weekend, and a good visit here could earn Michigan football a commitment. Ron Bellamy has been working tirelessly in this recruitment, and Williams would be an excellent start to this wide receiver class.

Michigan is in need of a good/great wide receiver class this cycle, and Williams would be a great fit for the Wolverines. This is definitely one to watch over the next few days. Look for any intel about Williams’ visit.
