Bad News; They Won’t be playing for huskies again

One of Kalen DeBoer’s lasting gifts to the University of Washington football team is his class of 20 freshmen recruits for 2023, of whom 18 are expected to be a very talented bunch that will stay on the team for a second season.

Many didn’t get to see much of these individuals the previous season for a Husky team that won 14 of 15 games and advanced to the CFP national championship game against Michigan primarily thanks to an experienced roster, which severely limited the progress of most rookies.

Only three players saw meaningful snaps early on—running back Tybo Rogers, center Landen Hatchett, and edge rusher Jacob Lane—or enough to use their rookie eligibility.
