The Owasso native, a three-star offensive lineman, declared his commitment to Oklahoma State on Wednesday night. Haff also had offers from UTSA, UNLV, Tulsa, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Houston, Minnesota, and Texas Tech.
Haff said of Oklahoma State, “There was no place like it,” to GoPokes247. “It’s such incredible energy. The coaches treat us like family, as all of the players have stated. They’ll act in our best interests.”
This past weekend, Haff made his official visit to Oklahoma State, where he was struck by the current players’ and coaches’ strong sense of family.
Before leaving campus this weekend for his visit, he actually informed offensive line coach Charlie Dickey and head coach Mike Gundy that he would be playing college football in Stillwater.
“They develop a lot of players well,” Haff said. “The family aspect was huge too. Coach Gundy was saying that he treats you like his own kid and everyone on the coaching staff treats you like you’re one of their own. It felt like I was home when I was there.”
Haff plays all across the offensive line at Owasso and is 6-foot-6 and 310 pounds, but Dickey said he sees him as a tackle possibility. Haff is ranked as the No. 82 interior offensive lineman and the No. 17 talent out of Oklahoma for the 2025 recruiting class.
Apart from the football program’s perks, Haff is enthusiastic about Oklahoma State’s academic offerings.
“They’re ranked No. 15 for petroleum engineering, which is what I want to do and get my degree in,” Haff stated. “Everything turns out. My entire family can watch because it’s an hour and twenty minutes from home. My family is huge OSU fans.”
Haff intends to play his senior year before enrolling early in Oklahoma State for the upcoming winter semester.
“It’s been the right fit for a while now,” Haff stated. “I’m eager to start working. Proceed, Pokes.”
The 2025 recruiting class saw the offensive lineman pledge to Oklahoma State as the fourth player after athlete Matrail Lopez, offensive lineman Jaylan Beckley, and edge rusher Kyle Keya.
Oklahoma State currently boasts the No. 8 class in the Big 12 and the No. 43 recruiting class in the nation thanks to Haff’s commitment.
