Blue Jays calling up $32 million weapon

For the most part, this season has been disappointing for the Toronto Blue Jays. Their 6-7 record demonstrates how annoying it has been for supporters of this team. The Jays faced the Seattle Mariners, another struggling team, following their 1-2 performance against the New York Yankees. Despite Yusei Kikuchi’s outstanding start, they lost the final game despite winning the first two.

Despite Kikuchi’s strong performance, there are still a lot of important questions concerning the Blue Jays’ rotation. Kevin Gaussman of Toronto and Bowden Francis of the Yankees both battled against their hard-hitting lineup. Later on, there may be space for a few fresh faces to join the rotation. The Jays are bringing up one of their best weapons from the minor leagues in light of this.

With the Blue Jays crowd, Yariel Rodriguez has amassed a tiny following, and for good cause. The right-hander is a formidable pitcher when healthy, capable of confusing opposing hitters with a fastball-slider combo. A $32 million contract was offered to him to guarantee his place in Toronto. Francys Romero reports that the team is calling up Rodriguez due to significant problems with their rotation.

Breaking: According to sources, Yariel Rodríguez, a right-hander from Cuba, has been called up by the Toronto Blue Jays. This Saturday is when Yariel should be turned on. He started his path to the major leagues a year ago, and he will finally be able to realize his dream.

After a few solid starts for the Blue Jays’ minor-league system, the team is finally calling up the Cuban righty to the show. Rodriguez was a starter for Toronto’s minor-league affiliates, so it’s natural to wonder if he’ll follow the same role in the majors.

Blue Jays’ bizzare season

The Blue Jays find themselves struggling pretty damn badly to start the year. For a team that is gunning for the playoffs at the very least, they’re playing inconsistently day-after-day. For the most part, their position players have been hitting the ball pretty well. George Springer and Bo Bichette are the main weapons, while Vladimir Guerrero Jr has been finding his form as of late, too.
