Point deduction for Leicester City

Based on the Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR), the 66-year-old claimed that a promotion will increase the Foxes’ cushion.

Wyness was the CEO of Goodison Park from 2004 to 2009. Currently, he runs a football consultancy where he gives football clubs advise.

Leicester’s losses for the last three Premier League seasons have surpassed £215 million, after the team announced a deficit of roughly £90 million for the 2022–2023 campaign.

Under PSR regulations, top-tier teams are limited to a maximum loss of £105 million over three years; this cap is reduced by each Championship season.

If Leicester makes a comeback after being fined by the Premier League for breaking spending rules, they risk losing points.
