Two commits in 2025 at receiver in two days.
Wideout Bryson Hayes of Maize, Kansas, made his choice to play for the Huskers known on Sunday.
The 6-foot, 180-pound player, rated as a three-star talent by major recruiting organizations, committed to the Huskers over offers from Kansas State, Kansas, and Iowa State.
At Maize, which is located outside of Wichita, Hayes has caught 79 passes for 1,544 yards and 18 touchdowns in the past two seasons. Hayes has accounted for touchdowns on about one out of every four catches. Hayes also ran a 100-meter sprint in 10.69 seconds recently.
He’s the fifth commit in NU’s 2025 class and the second receiver in as many days. On Saturday, Lincoln Southwest athlete Jackson Carpenter – son of former Husker tight end Tim Carpenter — committed to the class.
