The Foxes are vying for the title, the Baggies appear to have secured a play-off spot, the Tigers are just outside the top six, and the Terriers are 22nd in the table and one point off safety. However, it has been reported that three teams vying for promotion are interested in one of Huddersfield’s bright prospects: midfielder Brahima Diarra. According to Sudinfo, a Belgian news outlet, Leicester City, West Brom, and Hull City are keen on midfielder Brahima Diarra, a 20-year-old Malian whose contract expires and who could be available on a free transfer should his contract expire.
Given his age, the young midfielder has a respectable amount of first-team experience thanks to those appearances and a half-season stay at Harrogate Town.
But under Andre Breitenreiter, minutes have been limited, therefore it could be preferable for him to go somewhere in the future. It’s hardly surprising that prospective suitors are taking notice of this talented midfielder given his lack of playing time and approaching contract expiration.
Diarra might be a great addition in the short and long term, but only time will tell how things work out for him.
Diarra will undoubtedly have plenty of suitors if he decides to leave Huddersfield, with Leicester City, West Brom, Hull City, and a number of Belgian teams allegedly interested.
