Tennessee basketball extended offers to Devonta Lindsey of Knoxville Catholic and Shane Cherry of Austin-East this week. Following a game for the B Maze Elite AAU basketball team, the two received the offers.
Lindsey led Catholic to a 20-8 record this past season and was a finalist for Division II-AA Mr. Basketball. According to 247Sports Composite, the 6-foot-8 forward is the top player in the state for the 2025 class.
He averaged 16.6 points per game and 9.0 rebounds on 60% field-goal shooting. Along with the Vols, he has offers from SMU, Ole Miss, Georgetown and Georgia Tech.
