I’m backing Stones all the way

Levi Amantchi, a former striker for Maidstone, is supporting his former team to win the play-offs.

Thanks in large part to Amantchi’s early-season success at the Gallagher, United is among the favorites to win the promotion.

Before joining Bromley, the big man, a summer transfer from Brackley, scored 20 goals in less than half a season.

His total included 13 in the National League South, where he helped George Elokobi’s team win crucial games in the first few months of the season.

In fact, his goals directly led to 13 points, which included draws with Yeovil, Taunton, Farnborough, and Weston as well as wins over Dover, Chelmsford, and Havant.

The 23-year-old would really like to see his former team immediately return to the National League. He currently resides in the town and plans to leave this summer.

“They didn’t have the best time there, but you expect to go back up when you come down, don’t you?” Amantchi stated.

“Observe Yeovil. They were demoted and elevated to the position of champions.

“Maidstone has players who are good enough to advance.

They’re now in the playoffs, and I fail to see how they can’t win. You may count on my full support.

“At Maidstone, I made lifelong friends, and I still keep in touch with most of them.

It’s not as though I’ve vanished. I will always support the boys, and Maidstone will
