The quarterback Zach Wilson’s girlfriend was giddy with anticipation for his upcoming NFL adventure. Nicolette Dellanno celebrated her boyfriend’s move to Denver on her Instagram Story after it was revealed on Monday that the former first-round pick had been traded from the Jets to the Broncos in return for several late-round picks.
In an homage to the Broncos’ uniform color scheme, she incorporated three orange heart emojis to a post from the NFL’s Instagram page that celebrated Wilson’s trade. New Jersey native Dellanno, who has been connected to Wilson since 2022, looked ecstatic to hear the news.
The news, which came less than two months after Jets general manager Joe Douglas gave Wilson permission to pursue a trade, was well received by Wilson’s family as well. Wilson is going through a significant transition, and it appears that his fiancée and family are eager to see what Denver has in store for him.
