‘Disaster’;Navy Midshipmen Captain Out on Horrible Injury

While the 2025 Navy recruiting class is far from complete, Midshipmen fans got some exciting news for the future this week.

2025 QB recruit Michael Dove announced his commitment to the United States Naval Academy on Thursday. Dove did so in a post on his X account that stated “After lots of prayer and conversations with loved ones, I’ve decided to continue the legacy of my father, a former Marine, and commit to Navy!”

Dove is listed by 247Sports as 6’0″ and 190 pounds. His offer list also included Air Force, Army, Columbia, Georgetown, and Penn. Navy, Army, and Penn were his top choices.

Per his MaxPreps page, Dove completed 88 passes on 173 attempts for 1477 yards last season with Florida’s Lake Nona High School. A dual-threat style quarterback, he threw 21 touchdowns and ran for twelve last season.

Dove will have his first chance to sign his letter of intent this December.
