Under Dan Lanning, Oregon has emerged as one of the college football world’s surprise teams the past two years. This season, as they go to the Big Ten, they hope to build on their success.
Bo Nix Saw His NFL Dream Come True
Oregon saw one of the best players in school history, quarterback Bo Nix, see his NFL dream come true on Thursday night when the Denver Broncos selected him 12th overall.
After three years at Auburn, Nix walked onto Oregon’s campus this year. While playing for the Tigers, he looked nothing like an NFL quarterback, but entering the transfer portal was best for him because he turned into an NFL-ready quarterback in Eugene. Now, he could have a long NFL career because of it. The transfer portal works in two ways. Everyone loves it when a player transfers to their school, but at the same time, players also leave, and the Ducks saw that on Friday.
Johnny Bowens Is Heading To The Portal
Hayes Fawcett from On3.com states, “Defensive lineman Johnny Bowens has signed the papers to enter the transfer portal.”
