A Spanish media outlet was left impressed by Yerson Mosquera following his latest performance for Villarreal, but picked out thing that may slightly concern Wolves manager Gary O’Neil.
The team is presently loaning out the center defender, who is hoping to have a successful 2023–2024 season.
After an injury-plagued first season at the Minnesota Timberwolves, Mosquera spent the entire 2023 on loan to FC Cincinnati, which enabled him to get back on track.
Mosquera, who has played for Villarreal in 13 games thus far, was included in the starting lineup for the fifth straight league game on Sunday against Rayo Vallecano.
The expectation was that the 22-year-old could continue where he left off in Cincinnati and play football on a regular basis, and Marcelino, the manager of Villarreal, seems to like him.
Mosquera was praised for his latest outing, but there is one thing that AS have noted about Mosquera which Gary O’Neil may need to address when he gets to work with him this summer…
