Bad News;Houston Texans star out on career ending injury

According to multiple sources, a 16-year-old male opened fire at the Cabana Live nightclub during a private party in Sanford, Florida, in which ten people were injured, including Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell. Luckily, none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.

The police stated that ‘the incident began as a verbal altercation that escalated, leading to the gunfire.’ The incident occurred after officers were heading to Cabana Live to patrol the area as there were reports of a large crowd at the scene.

‘Upon arrival, Deputies heard multiple gunshots originating from the rear of the establishment, prompting the dispersal of the crowd,’ the County Sheriff’s Office mentioned in an official statement.

The Houston Texans commented on the incident

The Houston Texans also acknowledged that Tank Dell was a victim of the shooting, mentioning also in a statement that the player sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital. Fortunately, he was released from the hospital with no further injuries.

The Texans said in a statement.

We have been made aware that Tank Dell was a victim of a shooting in Sanford, Fla. last night. He sustained a minor wound but has been released from the hospital and he is in good spirits. We are in contact with him and his family and will provide more updates when appropriate but we ask that you please respect his privacy at this time.
