Tennessee Volunteers coach on indefinite suspension

Three players were selected by the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, but after the NFL Draft, a number of other players were able to find new homes.

Jaylen Wright, a running back, made it to the fourth round and signed a deal with the Miami Dolphins. In the sixth round, quarterback Joe Milton was selected by the New England Patriots, and shortly after, cornerback Kamal Hadden was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Then, as it does each year, the mad rush to sign undrafted free agents started. Over the course of the next day, eight more Volunteers discovered their next opportunity.

Tennessee’s undrafted free agents

New England Patriots tight end Jacob Warren

WR Ramel Keyton of the Raiders in Las Vegas

Philadelphia Eagles TE McCallan Castles

LB Beasley, Aaron — Seattle Seahawks

Titans CB Gabe Jeudy-Lally at Tennessee

OL JJ Crawford of the Panthers in Carolina

S Jaylen McCollough of the Rams in Los Angeles

Seattle Seahawks’ Dee Williams, a returner

Next up for all eleven of these guys will be the rookie minicamp process, which is set to begin this coming weekend. It’s a short three-day camp setting, allowing these guys to get to the facility and get their feet wet on the field. All drafted players and undrafted players can attend. Obviously for the undrafted guys, it’s a chance to get started and make impressions heading into training camp and the preseason, where they’ll be fighting for a roster spot.

We’ll see how many of these guys can stick once camp wraps up in August.
