‘Terrible’ Orlando City soccer player and his wife are arrested

Following a confrontation with security personnel at a nightclub, an Orlando City soccer player and his spouse were taken into custody on disorderly conduct charges.

Over the weekend, 26-year-old Mason Stajduhar and his spouse Tatiana attended Tier Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

Stajduhar was taken out of the nightclub by bouncers, but when he attempted to reenter, he stumbled and fell to the ground, according to an arrest report obtained by WFTV9.

The team’s goalkeeper, Stajduhar, stated that he wanted to return because he wanted to make sure his wife was okay after being hit by bouncers.

Security guards then took Stajduhar to Orlando police officers who then arrested him.

Juntrel French II, one of the security guards, told law enforcement that he was the manager and that the couple had been behaving disrespectfully.

An affidavit says that he told officers they were ‘being disrespectful and causing a scene at the front entrance of the nightclub’.

The affidavit said: ‘Tatiana and Mason had disrupted the normal flow of business of Tier Nightclub by their actions with the nightclub staff and officers, which ensued into a fight as they were both combative with the nightclub staff.’

While officers moved in to arrest Stajduhar his wife Tatiana is alleged to have been ‘screaming obscenities’ at the officers.

After an officer approached her and told her to back up, she is then said to have pushed an officer.

For that, she too was arrested and ‘actively resisted’ and continued to yellow, calling one officer a ‘stupid b****’, the affidavit said.

The couple were taken to the Orange County Booking and Release Center before being released on Monday after they posted a bond.

Officers said that Tatiana would not be charged with battery on a police officer and resisting arrest with violence.

They both could potentially be charged for violating a city ordinance regarding disorderly conduct.

Orlando City Soccer Club said in a statement: ‘The Club is aware that goalkeeper Mason Stajduhar was arrested early Sunday morning.

‘We are currently gathering more information and will have no further comment at this time.’

On Saturday night, Stajduhar was on the bench during the team’s 2-1 loss to Toronto FC at Inter&Co Stadium in Orlando.

Stajduhar joined the team in 2015 after representing their academy at youth levels, and signed a deal through to 2025 in 2022.

Outside of club soccer, he has also represented the country on the U-18 and U-2O National Teams.
