Moroka Swallows are walking a tightrope in more ways than one.
Financial problems have seen the club in trouble on and off the pitch and will now rebuild their season from scratch after dismissing more than half the squad.
The club’s management initiated disciplinary processes against striking players and their representatives delivered their verdict on Friday.
The Dube Birds terminated the contracts of 22 players, including both of their first-choice goalkeepers, Daniel Akpeyi and Buhle Thompson.
