The Tampa Bay Bucs won the NFC South in 2023 for the third time in a row, and as a result, they were awarded a first-place schedule for 2024.
Tampa Bay’s 17-game schedule, which was decided by matching division standings, included home games against the AFC North champion Baltimore Ravens and the NFC West-winning San Francisco 49ers, as well as a trip to Detroit to play the NFC North-winning Lions and the recently crowned Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
This completes the schedule, which also include games against the four teams in the NFC East and the four teams in the AFC West in addition to the customary six NFC South intermission games.
In more detail, these are the rivals
Because the NFC gets to host all of the “17th games” that were added to the schedule in 2021, the Buccaneers will play nine games at home in 2024. Every team competes in that game as an interconference contest every year, with the two conferences switching places as the host teams. The Bucs will play the Ravens in their 17th game.
The Bucs will play six games at home against Baltimore, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, and away against Dallas, Detroit, and Kansas City, teams that qualified for the 2023 postseason.
