Following his arrest for assault, a former Mamelodi Sundowns player is scheduled to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.
According to reports, a former football player for Mamelodi Sundowns was detained for allegedly beating his girlfriend.
The soccer player reportedly spent the night at the Sebenza police station in Gauteng, which is close to Kempton Park, according to Scrolla.Africa. It is anticipated that he will shortly appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court.
According to reports, the former Sundowns player was taken into custody on Tuesday, April 23, following a domestic abuse complaint made against him by his girlfriend.
The alleged assault event is said to have happened at their residence.
The Masandawana player’s name is currently under limits until after he appears in court.

Lorch was found guilty in June last year and was handed a three-year direct imprisonment sentence (which was suspended for five years) in November.
According to Legal Wise, when someone is handed a suspended sentence, it is placed on hold completely or partly for a period not longer than five years. A suspended sentence may be subject to certain conditions, for example, that a person is not allowed to commit a similar criminal offence during the suspension of his or her sentence.
Should the accused break any of the conditions the suspended sentence is subject to, the full sentence will be put in force, and the accused will then have to go to jail.
Lorch was convicted in June of last year and sentenced to three years of straight jail, with a five-year suspension, in November.
A person who receives a suspended sentence has their sentence either fully or partially suspended for a maximum of five years, according to Legal Wise. Certain limitations may apply to a suspended sentence, such as prohibiting the offender from committing the same crime while the sentence is suspended.
If the defendant violates any of the terms of the suspended sentence, the entire penalty will become operative, and the defendant will have to serve time in jail.
In February of this year, Lorch was once more accused of being abused following.
