Derry City will discover their opponent in this season’s Europa Conference League on Tuesday, June 18.
The Candystripes will enter the competition in the First Qualifying Round, alongside fellow League of Ireland side Shelbourne. FAI Cup winners St. Patrick’s Athletic will enter the competition at the Second Qualifiying Round while champions Shamrock Rovers will compete in the UEFA Champions League First Qualifying Round.
Last season Ruaidhri Higgins oversaw victories over HB Torshavn from the Faroe Islands and Finnish side KuPS, before bowing out on penalties at Tallaght against Tobol Kostanay from Kazakhstan.
