Nottingham Forest outcast set for a big move

Chris Willock, a creative midfielder, is expected to depart Queens Park Rangers this summer; he has not yet agreed to a new contract with the team.

If the former Benfica player decides to move on, his four-year relationship with the R’s would come to an end. During that time, he has played in 140 league games and scored 20 goals.

Marti Cifuentes will be looking for a replacement who can replicate the qualities that Willock added in the last third, as his magical moments helped his team overcome the drop. Willock played a significant role in keeping Rangers in the Championship during the previous campaign.

Josh Bowler, a former QPR academy prospect who struggled to make an impression at the City Ground and was shunned by Nottingham Forest, is one player who might entice the Spaniard.

Josh Bowler’s return to Loftus Road could rekindle his career.

When Bowler moved from Blackpool to Nottingham Forest in 2022, he appeared to have the entire world at his disposal. Bowler had been a prominent player for the Tangerines at Bloomfield Road, contributing ten goals and several crazy dribbles on the sides.

The transfer to Tricky Trees hasn’t gone as expected, though, as he hasn’t played a game for the team and has been out on loan for the majority of the time.
