Derby County in search for £500,000 signed by …………..

Several Championship clubs are still interested in a former Fylde Coast non-league player.

After moving to the Scottish Premiership six months ago, Adama Sidibeh’s career has taken off, and things may be about to improve for the striker.

The 25-year-old, who originally moved to England from the Gambia, played for AFC Blackpool in the North West Counties League Division One North before joining Cheadle Heath Nomads.

After that, he joined Warrington Rylands, where he made an impression in the first half of the previous season with 15 goals.

The forward was linked to several clubs back in January before he finally sealed a move to St Johnstone. Blackpool was one of those clubs.

Sidibeh’s success north of the border continued, as he scored five goals in 15 games and was called up to the Gambia national team due to his outstanding play.

Football Insider revealed earlier this month that Burnley, Derby County, Middlesbrough, Hull City, and Swansea City were among the teams keeping a close check on the former AFC Blackpool player.

There have been rumors circulating that he may fetch up to £500k to leave McDiarmid Park.
Despite the circulating rumors, no official approaches have been made for Sidibeh, according to the Courier.
