Mark Travers appears to have a “staggering £10 million price tag” placed on him by Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old Travers was on loan at Stoke City last summer and was eager to return as much as the team, then led by Alex Neil, was after an emergency recall to his parent club in October due to injury.
Even though he had to wait until late April to return to league action, he finished the season as the team’s top pick on the south coast, even though Stoke had replaced him with Daniel Iversen, a January loan from Leicester.
