Last season, Twine had two distinct loan experiences in the Championship, first with Hull City and then with Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The 25-year-old’s performance delighted Liam Manning, the manager of the Robins, and he wants to see him again this season.
Twine, however, is being pursued by Birmingham City and Sunderland in addition to Bristol City.
But his suitors will have to wait.
Twine is being closely observed by Parker, Burnley’s recently recruited manager, who is still getting to know his players during preseason training.
The manager took notice of Twine when he scored a hat-trick in a private practice on Wednesday.
Parker still needs to decide what he wants to do with Twine, and Sunderland, Birmingham City, and Bristol City are waiting for him.
It’s unclear if any of the three will give up on Twine in favor of other options.
