He was a star at the City Ground

This summer, Nuno Espirito Santo has undoubtedly witnessed the addition of six new players to the Forest squad, as they entered the City Ground.

In terms of departures, the summer has been quite active as well, with multiple players leaving in recent weeks.

After receiving payment for the services of Orel Mangala and Moussa Niakhate, Forest was able to avoid any PSR problems in June.

Forest has managed to hang onto their best players thus far, even though there has been interest shown on a few of them.

But with Forest rumored to have reduced their valuation on one of their stars, the door may be about to open for a large sale this summer.

Nottingham Forest lowers the £15 million valuation of in-demand talents.

Individual Forest players turned forth some truly outstanding performances last season, despite the team’s overall troubles.

Morgan Gibbs-White was one of them; he was a star at the City Ground, having contributed to 15 goals in the Premier League alone.

Teams like Tottenham Hotspur are rumored to be interested in Gibbs-White this summer.

But there’s one more player that Forest fans may be scared to lose, and they may be getting ready to sell him.

Nottingham Forest is now valuing Murillo at £55 million and £60 million for this summer, according to Sami Mokbel.

Chelsea, a Premier League team notorious for making large purchases when they desire a player, has expressed interest in this guy.

Despite having balanced their books this summer against PSR, Evangelos Marinakis would undoubtedly be given some food for thought if he were to receive a bid of almost £60 million for a player.

Prior to Nottingham Forest, Murillo was valued at £70 million.

It’s interesting to note that Forest valued Murillo at around £70 million this summer, according to a previous report this year.

Despite spending just one season in the Premier League, the Brazilian center back made 32 games in the top division and swiftly established himself as a fixture at the City Ground.

This occurs just a year after Forest paid roughly £15 million to sign the center-back from Corinthians in Brazil.

Despite Murillo’s “sensational” Premier League debut, Forest might find a sizable financial offer too tempting to decline if it came with Marinakis’ fore.
