‘Incredible’: Manager discusses the future of “absolutely” in public

Spurs are fighting for a Wolves winger.
Pedro Neto, a winger for Wolves, has been heavily linked to a move to Tottenham Hotspur during the current summer transfer window as the North London team looks to expand their offensive options.

Throughout the summer window, Spurs were linked to a number of wingers, including Nico Williams and Chiesa. Nevertheless, the rumors surrounding both of those players have subsided, leaving only Neto’s name to circulate.

Since the start of the summer transfer season, rumors have been building that the Portuguese would be moving to N17, and they don’t appear to be abating.

According to rumors earlier this week, the club has increased its interest in signing the 24-year-old winger to a contract at White Hart Lane after speaking with him about personal conditions.

Despite Spurs connections, O’Neil is still optimistic about maintaining Neto.

Regarding Pedro Neto’s “absolutely incredible” potential to stay at Wolverhampton Wanderers outside the current summer window, O’Neil has finally spoken out. While acknowledging the interest in the 24-year-old, the Wolves manager insisted that the winger remain in his current position for the summer.

“I am aware of his talent and how well he would perform in a large venue. It goes without saying that I want this squad to achieve incredible success. Thus, I’m hoping he remains.

“I believe so (there’s a possibility he remains). Nothing is happening from anyone right now. He’s in a good place; I’ve explained to him how our game will unfold, how well it fits him, and how much of a role he will play.

Naturally, though, while you’re speaking with them, we’re all adults. No one will obstruct Pedro if a major club makes a bid of this magnitude.

“I have no doubt that he will be present. The club believes he won’t be since we haven’t really had anything. Naturally, nevertheless, a lot of work can be completed after hours.

Bringing the 24-year-old to White Hart Lane is an exciting prospect, especially in light of his varied performances at the Molineux Stadium throughout the years.

Postecoglou can feature on either wing and maybe play through the middle in a false nine style. His creativity, flair, and quickness on the flank would guarantee that Postecoglou’s side is more clinical in the transition.

However, Spurs will need to move quickly to sign Neto because teams like Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked to a deal for him.
